MSLL Super 8s Tryout

We will be having tryouts for the kids on Thursday June 11th from 6.00pm to ~8.00pm. Please bring your full baseball equipment and be ready to start at 6.00pm sharp.

This is the first year MSLL has run a post season Super 8s team. The team will play in the Super 8s tournament hosted by North Vancouver Central at Sowden Park. The tournament runs from Jun 19-21st. All players selected must be able to commit to playing all games during the tournament.

Post season is a more competitive experience than regular season baseball. The tryout process will be used to select the strongest possible team, and playing time for kids will be subject to tournament rules but may not be equal playing time for all players. Players that are selected to the team will be asked to pay a $25 post season fee and to sign to the post season protocol.

All parents are asked to attend the first 15 minutes of the tryout as the coaches and members of the MSLL Executive will provide an overview of what to expect if your child is selected for the Super 8s team.

Eligible Players

Players who wish to tryout out for the Super 8s team must be:

• baseball age 8 (born Jan 1 2007 - Dec 31st 2007)
• have played Rookie Senior this season
• have participated in a minimum of 60% of their Spring season games
• parents must be willing to sign the MSLL Post Season Protocol agreeing to post season expectations
